Travel to Aberystwyth
Aberystwyth is a beautiful town located on the West Coast of Wales. Due to the location of
Aberystwyth we advise conference delegates to allow plenty of time for travel.
Aberystwyth can be reached by train, bus or car.
There is a regular train service from London Euston. This journey will take approximately
5 hours.
The main inter-city services offer connections to Aberystwyth from Birmingham New Street
and Wolverhampton. A frequent bus and taxi service operates from the train station to
Penglais campus.

Arrivals at London, Heathrow, Gatwick, and other airports are linked by a national
bus service to Aberystwyth. Birmingham International and Manchester Airports have
the shortest travel times to Aberystwyth. We do not advise delegates to fly to
Cardiff Airport.

Inter-city journeys by bus terminate at the railway station. A frequent local bus service
operates to both campuses - look for the Waun Circular.
A large taxi rank is situated next to the railway station. Please ask the taxi driver to take you to Penglais Campus, University of Wales Aberystwyth.
At UWA there is plenty of on-site parking for cars.
